Electro Mechanic Trainer (LS3)

About the role

Alcon’s Training & Development team is seeking an Electro Mechanic Trainer to design, deliver and track technical training for LS3 maintenance. You will ensure new hires and existing staff receive consistent, high‑quality instruction and support the reliability and safety of critical manufacturing equipment.

Key responsibilities

• Design, schedule, deliver and monitor technical training programs for LS3 maintenance.
• Run a train‑the‑trainer program and qualify area trainers.
• Create training materials, knowledge assessments and SOP‑aligned modules.
• Collaborate with Maintenance, Engineering, Operations and Quality to build a structured learning framework.
• Utilize training authoring and multimedia tools for content development.
• Stay current on industry trends, learning theory and GxP regulations.
• Incorporate participant feedback to continuously improve training.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience (high school + 8 years or Associate + 4 years).
• Fluent reading, writing and speaking English.
• Ability to work Monday‑Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM EST with some flexibility for night‑shift teams.
• Minimal travel (less than 5%).
• On‑site availability; sponsorship and relocation not provided.

Required skills
