Manager, Total Rewards

About the role

Mastercard is seeking a Manager, Total Rewards to lead pay transparency initiatives worldwide. In this role you will translate compensation insights into actionable strategies, partnering directly with cross‑functional teams and business leaders to ensure alignment with global expectations.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with cross‑functional teams and businesses to support global pay equity and transparency strategies.
• Translate analytical findings into business‑relevant insights and recommendations.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure alignment between data analysis and business expectations.
• Monitor and interpret trends in pay data, including equity and fairness across the organization.
• Ensure compliance with pay transparency regulations and act as a subject‑matter expert on the evolving global pay equity landscape, including the EU Directive.
• Continuously track global changes in pay equity and reporting requirements.
• Support compensation planning and budget cycles.
• Help solve challenging and impactful problems facing the Total Rewards team and the broader organization.

Required profile

• Knowledge of compensation practices, market trends, and ability to formulate analysis and proposals.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other data analysis tools.
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills with a track record of solving complex problems.
• Creative, innovative team player with a sense of urgency, strong attention to detail, and passion for learning.
• Ability to work independently and organize and prioritize projects in a matrixed environment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, able to create presentations and narratives.
