Maintenance Technician – Heartwood (Lockwood Glen)

About the role

Greystar is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support the Heartwood community at Lockwood Glen. The role ensures that all building systems, grounds, and common areas meet the company’s standards for safety, appearance, and functionality.

Key responsibilities

• Complete resident work orders and preventative maintenance, diagnosing issues and performing repairs in line with policies, safety standards, and code requirements.
• Execute the “make‑ready” process for vacant units, including inspections, punch‑list creation, vendor coordination, and final quality checks.
• Manage inventory of tools, supplies, and equipment, tracking usage and notifying supervisors of re‑order needs.
• Document service requests accurately and promptly for proper tracking.
• Maintain grounds and common areas by trash removal, pressure‑washing breezeways and pool areas, general cleaning, and painting curbs or signage as needed.
• Support cost‑control initiatives by repairing rather than replacing parts whenever possible.

Required profile

• Experience performing mechanical and technical maintenance in a residential or commercial property setting.
• Ability to follow safety protocols, company policies, and local code requirements.
• Willingness to work a Monday‑Friday schedule with a rotating on‑call rotation.
